SimpleZazenTimer is a seated meditation timer. It requires no account and includes no advertising, analytics SDKs, or tracking.

Information stored by the app

Selected meditation duration, preparation time, bell preferences, and the active timer are stored locally on your device. The developer does not collect this information or transmit it to a developer-operated server. Depending on your device settings, this data may be included in operating-system backups.

Retention and deletion

The active timer is removed when the session finishes or is cancelled. Preferences remain on the device for your next session. Deleting the app removes its local app data. Manage any copies in operating-system backups through the operating system’s backup settings.

Notifications

With your permission, the app schedules local notifications on your device for the beginning and end of a session. You can change notification permission in iPhone Settings.

Third parties

The app does not share personal information with third parties. Information handled by the App Store and operating system is subject to Apple's policies.
